SO I MARRIED A WEREWOLF is Book 3 in Kristin Miller's Seattle Wolf Pack series. SO I MARRIED A WEREWOLF has many of my favorite romance tropes-- a pretend engagement, marriage of convenience, and friends turned lovers. Add the fact that Carter Griffin and Faith Hamilton are both werewolves and that only adds to the fun. Even though this is part of a series, I believe SO I MARRIED A WEREWOLF can be enjoyed as a stand-alone book.

SO I MARRIED A WEREWOLF is told from both Carter and Faith's point of views. I think this gives the reader a better understanding of where they are both coming from. Without that, Carter might have not seemed as sympathetic a character. I like that Kristin Miller gives details about Carter's romantic past. This helps the reader understand him and his motivations better. Carter and Faith are good friends and, unbeknownst to Carter, Faith has had a huge crush on him. Neither of them ever tried to take their relationship into romantic territory for various reasons. However, now a situation presents itself for them to pretend to be in a relationship.

There are a lot of fun and sexy moments in SO I MARRIED A WEREWOLF because of Carter and Faith's ruse. However, as the story progresses and the relationship takes a turn and Carter's feelings for Faith change, the heightened emotions create more drama. In addition to the romance aspect of SO I MARRIED A WEREWOLF, I feel like this is also very much a story of a woman's journey of self-discovery and empowerment. I love how Kristin Miller gives Faith depth and gives her goals to better her life independent of any relationship she has with Carter. At the end of the day, this is still very much a romance, but I think the attention to detail with the characters gives the story texture and a richer reading experience.

SO I MARRIED A WEREWOLF is a fun paranormal romance with characters you care about. I look forward to reading more books in this series as well as other books by this Kristin Miller.
