Though the curse is no longer new to her, Dominy still has trouble balancing her girl and her wolf. When her enemy, Nadine, shows up again, things only get worse. Dominy and her friends will have to stop the town's evil once and for all, even if sacrifices on all ends have to be made.

While STARFALL by Michael Griffo has some nice aspects to it, it unfortunately wasn't a good fit for me. I haven't read the previous books in the series, but Griffo does a solid job of giving background information to give the reader a good update on what's happened so far. However, I had a hard time connecting with the main character, Dominy. She bounces around a lot and is kind of inconsistent, and I just couldn't find a strong connection to her. Her relationship with Caleb is really sweet though, and I really like the romance in the story with them.

The writing feels a bit stiff, and some of the dialogue steers towards cliché at times. With that, it made it hard to lose myself in the story and to really care about the situation. However, the paranormal elements with the wolf are interesting, and I like the touches of mythology with Orion. The ending does answer all the important questions, and the epilogue is a very sweet touch. The secondary characters have distinct personalities which is another highlight to the story.

Overall, STARFALL by Michael Griffo just isn't the book for me. It definitely has some really nice highlights to it, but not being able to connect with the main character stopped me from enjoying it as much as I could have. If you enjoy paranormal stories with wolves, it still might be something you want to check out.
