FIGHT FOR ME is a 140 pages of over-the-top escapist fantasy with some light BDSM and some limited threesome action. The story is written in first person as told by Tessa. Tessa is working as a waitress, raising her 4 year old son, and dreaming of going back to college. One year ago she separated from her husband, MMA fighter Ryder, because he had anger issues and would not open up to her. Tessa became friends with Ryder and his best friend Xavier when they were all teens. She and Ryder married young and were very sexually compatible. Even though she loved him, Tessa felt she had to leave Ryder, because he started acting out physically and would not explain himself. Tessa knows something bad had happened to Ryder to make him behave the way he does, but she is incredibly hurt that he will not share it with her.

Xavier has loved Tessa from the time they all met, but stepped aside to let Ryder have her. Xavier retired from MMA fighting and is now a billionaire. Once Tessa and Ryder separated, though, Xavier steps up and tells Tessa how he feels. Tessa is torn between the two men, both of whom she is very attracted to. Tessa receives an invitation to go to Eden, an island off Florida for a week of decadent living. The tagline for the resort is "Welcome to Eden, where reality is whatever you wish it to be..."

When she arrives, she spies a sign for an upcoming fight, between Xavier and Ryder! They tell her they are going to fight and the winner gets her. Tessa spends a week at Eden being wined, dined, and sexed up between the two men. The sex, though flirting with BDSM and the even kinkier side of threesomes, is oddly tame. Ryder finally, and to me belatedly, shares his traumatic past with Tessa, which throws the story into another unexpected loop near the end of the book. I found myself working hard to keep my willing suspension of disbelief throughout this novella. Readers looking for a light kink with a touch of suspense in their books may find FIGHT FOR ME by Sharon Page right up their alley.
