Tammy Jo can't seem to stay out of messes. This half witch, half Fae goes though clothes like crazy as they are always getting destroyed leaving her naked a lot more than she likes. SLIGHTLY SPELLBOUND is book five in the Southern Witch series, but jumping in at this point, I was able to connect with the characters. I love the book! Tammy Jo is a laugh-a-minute, and you have to hate her for her love of sweets and only weighing 107.5 pounds.

In this story she is followed by a skeleton creature, the ghosts in town are fading, the vampires are getting tired, and strange people are walking into her life to be her friend. Oh, and then there is the farie following her around. Not to mention her old boyfriend and new boyfriend getting into a fight over her. SLIGHTLY SPELLBOUND is full of exciting and interesting characters.

Tammy Jo, her ocelot Mercutio, the ghost of her long dead great, great grandmother, Zach (the old boyfriend) and Bryn (the new boyfriend) set out to discover what is going on in town that is making all the ghosts disappear. Before Tammy Jo can get started Evangeline Rhodes shows up at her house informing Tammy that they are going to be friends, and she needs help keeping her stepmother and stepbrother from killing her. Things get started from there and it's nonstop until the final page. It's a great ride, and fans of urban fantasy will really enjoy SLIGHTLY SPELLBOUND, and I won't miss the next in Kimberly Frost's Southern Witch series.
