Zee is a physical therapist who was a nurse in the war. Like Leif, Zee has what is known as survival's guilt. Both of them have a lot of things that are too hard to try and explain to someone who has not been in their shoes. Both are haunted by nightmares.

What a surprise Leif gets when he starts physical therapy and finds that Zee is going to be in charge of him. There are sparks between the two, but both feel that with their backgrounds, they just would not make a great couple. However, no matter what they do, they still feel like they are thrown together and neither one knows how to handle this.

Will MORE THAN A TOUCH help these two get on with their lives together?

This is the first book that I have read of Alexis Morgan. I feel that I should have read the other books in the Strawberry Creek Novel to get maybe a little better background on some of the other characters. I know that Leif was in the war and one of his best friends Spencer gets killed. What I don't know, is why Spencer left his farm to Callie. Also, how did Callie and Nick, who was Leif's and Spencer's sergeant, get together? Maybe if I had read the first couple of books, I would have enjoyed this book even more than I did.
