As Jackson recovers from his near fatal injuries, he and the other time travelers must find a way to escape not only the island where they're being held captive but also the time in which they're being held, a time that is nearly twelve- hundred years into the future. But the unforeseen repercussions of time travel are manifesting into a much larger problem. Jackson, Courtney, Holly, and Emily must escape and put a stop to Thomas and Doctor Ludwig's experiments at Eyewall if they want to save the humanity.

TIMESTORM is a fast-paced, inventive conclusion to The Tempest Trilogy. Author Julie Cross negotiates the twists and turns of time travel with deft skill, allowing her readers to linger in the suspense of Jackson's plight rather than wondering about the repercussions of time travel. Time travel is a necessary element to the story, but it is Jackson's actions and the actions of his friends that make TIMESTORM a thrilling read. As TIMESTORM is the conclusion to the trilogy, I do recommend reading the first two Tempest Novels: Tempest and Vortex.

Julie Cross has crafted a thrilling conclusion to this time- travel trilogy that will surprise even as it leaves the reader with much to think about. There are no questions unanswered, but the possibilities and the decisions Jackson makes are emotionally heavy and this world will stay with the reader long after the final page is read.
