Magically transported to medieval Scotland she finds herself falling in love with the country and the Laird Iain. Thinking she has found heaven, she is suddenly thrust into a new world. This time she finds herself in a more ancient Scotland dealing with a Pict chieftain, Velloc. Is it possible that this man is the second of her soul mates?
Isobel struggles to adjust her thinking in this new world. Though she is no longer bent on obtaining archaeological recognitions she still wants to learn. She is also a woman who will do whatever she must for those she loves.
FORGED IN DREAMS AND MAGICK in an eye opening time travel book. I don't normally like time travel books but this one, set in Scotland caught my eye and I am glad it did. In this one a strong woman bent on recognition in her profession finds things that she never imagined she would find. She travels back and forth between her two "husbands" all the while learning more about the magic box and the dangers of changing history. Then of course there are the two strong men she loves and the times she spends with them are amazingly hot. I enjoyed this book and hope to read more from author Kat Bastion.
