Meredith Stoltfus is facing a hard decision. Does she let Luke go and move ahead with her life or does she wait for news? After almost a year, she is being courted by a young man who loves her and her son. Luke's family struggles with her decision as they fear she will take their grandson away.

Meredith finally decides to accept Jonah's proposal but as the wedding day approaches, doubts begin to creep in.

A VOW FOR ALWAYS is the 6th part of the story which was published in 6 different volumes. Not having read the first six, I wasn't sure whether I would be able to get into the story and keep the characters straight. Ms. Brunstetter did a fabulous job of giving the reader enough information without feeling they had missed too much.

A VOW FOR ALWAYS was especially moving as we watch both characters struggle with hard decisions. Luke's memory is capricious and frustrating. Meredith has to deal with the loss of her true love. Ms. Brunstetter must be a favorite with fans of Amish romance.
