In TALKING DIRTY WITH THE PLAYER, old lovers Judith Ashton and Caleb Steele are bound to combust with all the chemistry surrounding them. Judith's whole family has basically abandoned her starting with her mother, while Caleb's mother died from cancer leaving him with an alcoholic father. Caleb and Judith shared one night of passion when there were both young, Caleb said some very hurtful and untrue things to Judith to help her move on which didn't really work. Now A couple years later both are in her brother's wedding and they have to face the music of their chemistry.

I really truly loved this book. I have read one other book by Jackie Ashenden and loved that one, but this one just blew me away. When TALKING DIRTY WITH THE PLAYER opens to the first chapter you're like what am I reading because its starts off a little weird, the characters happen to be playing laser tag at a wedding and the story just gets better from there. I absolutely loved both of these characters, the character of Caleb was so cocky, hot and just thought he knew what was best for him because of his past. He basically looked at himself like a player because that's truly what he thought he was. The character of Judith was a riot and one to be reckoned with. She knew what she wanted out of life and from a man. While reading this story I was like you go girl! Both of these characters come from similar backgrounds but also very different backgrounds, both were abandoned by loved ones and had trouble trusting each other. Caleb didn't think he was enough for Judith.

This story is so perfect and beautifully written. It's funny, so romantic and had me hanging on to the edge of my seat. TALKING DIRTY WITH THE PLAYER is such a great read and I can't wait for more from the author. A really wonderful story.
