While doing her diagnostic thing for the hospital Dora is bitten by a zombie and whisked away to quarantine. Then after there are no signs of Z-phage, she is secreted away to a black ops lab, where she is used as a guinea pig to try to find a cure. A boring, painful existence until they drop him into her new world.

Dirk Gunderson is a werewolf, a tough guy with a little white teacup Chihuahua named Fang. He also makes a misstep and finds himself in a lab, sold by an enemy. He comes to to find himself with a gleipnir collar around his neck, a very painful accessory. There are a number of things he and the doc in the cell next to him need to do: get the collar off, escape, find her brother and niece and get back to his pack ... surviving the zombie's in the process. No problem. Biggest problem is when he realizes that she just might be a witch and no matter what his body and heart are saying mating with a witch is a no-no.

If you love shifters, witches, aren't squeamish and want to see what the end of the world could be like then APOCALYPIC MOON by author Eva Gordon is the book you will want to read. Even though it is about the end of the world there is quite a bit of humor laced throughout the pages, also a lot of sex appeal and the learning curve of a new untrained witch. The secondary characters are strong and unique with a variety of shifters (wolves, bears, and ravens) adding a lot to the storyline, especially Princess Rave, who is a rebellious raven. This is the first of a series and I cannot wait for more.
