Bec McMaster delivers yet another stunning installment to the London Steampunk series with her latest book, MY LADY QUICKSILVER. Rosalind Fairchild desires the destruction of the Echelon. A lot of this has to do with her brother, who has disappeared. Rosa believes that if she can infiltrate the Echelon, she can find a way to help him. However, once she becomes a secretary to Sir Jasper Lynch and the Nighthawks, she finds that it may be more difficult to gain the answers she needs from him.

She doesn't count on falling for the restrained Lynch. Almost methodical in his thinking, Lynch seems immune to seduction, yet when Rosa is in close proximity to him, she can't help but wonder if he feels the chemistry too.

McMaster has a particular talent with words. She weaves such detailed and intricate scenes that it seems almost impossible not to feel immerged in her world. Such rich, lush backgrounds and multi-faceted characters make her stand out amongst a sea of talented writers. Plot twists here and there only add that shock factor and don't forget the epic romances that she is able to create!

If I had to pick a series that I think had it all and continues to get better with each release, I would pick McMaster's London Steampunk series. This series just has so much to offer and many avenues to pursue for future books.

Fans of Kristen Callihan's Darkest London and Elizabeth Hoyt's Maiden Lane series would get a kick out of this series. I would highly recommend MY LADY QUICKSILVER to readers who enjoy their Historical Romance with a little paranormal twist and a ton of action thrown in.
