Wendy and her husband Dave have a fight. The next night she is sitting in a bar waiting on her friend Pam.  The friend never shows and she ends up with Curtis, a stranger she has just met.  NO WAY BACK by Andrew Gross is the story of how one mistake can change your life. against her better judgement, Wendy winds up upstairs in the hotel room with Curtis. While she is there she witnesses something very disturbing and almost doesn't make it out of the room alive.

Somehow, she makes it home and confesses it all to her husband.  She tells him they must leave right away.  These people know where they live and they aren't safe.  Wendy is then set up in a way you can't even imagine and she has to go on the run alone.  She can't trust anyone and Dave is no longer with her. 

NO WAY BACK is also about Lauritizia.  She escaped from Mexico and is as a nanny.  She is very happy there and she loves the family very much.  While at a mall one day, she witnesses a shooting and knows that the bullets were meant for her.  Her father worked for some very bad men in Mexico and they are coming after her because he turned on them.    She must get away from this family that she loves so much.  She can't put them in danger.  They convince her to stay and they will help her.

Wendy and Lauritizia's stories come together and they must work together to bring it all to an end.  They want their lives back and the only way that is going to happen is if they are strong and face their fears and these people.   They are two very strong women and will stop at nothing no matter how afraid they are.

  I devour Andrew's  books, and NO WAY BACK was a very quick read for me.  Andrew has a way of pulling you in right from the very first page and never lets you go until the final page.  Once you think you have it all figured out, Andrew throws you a curve ball .  The plot lines are very clean and easy to follow.  NO WAY BACK is packed with action and suspense and you will find yourself not being able to stop turning the pages late into the night.
