Azrael came to Earth a little different than his brothers. He arrived as a vampire and his thought is that as he had been the Angel of Death that is why he came down differently. He hides his true nature as a lead singer in the rock band 'Valley of Shadow' with other members, who are also vampires of his making. While at Gabriel's wedding to his archess Juliette, Azrael lays eyes on Sophie Bryce and he knows his search is over.
Sophie Bryce is best friends with Juliette and can't believe that her friend is now married to an archangel and is an angel herself. She also cannot believe how hot the brother Azrael is but knows with her past she could never even dream of someone like him. He's an archangel and she certainly doesn't have wings.
Azrael wants to woo Sophie but he has to protect her from the forces that want to destroy her and in the process himself. With so much against him including his darker nature can he win his angel?
DEATH'S ANGEL is a thrill ride! There are gorgeous archangels and vampires rolled into one storyline ... what more can you ask for? The pace is quick enough to keep your heart beating fast as you watch the couple and the others (vampire and archangel alike) fight for love and honor. My one complaint, and it is a minor one, is that at times I had to stop and figure out which bad guys was going after the couple, but as I said a minor problem in a heart racing read. The author [Heather Killough-Walden] has a fantastic hit on her hands and will make you want to read, if you haven't already, the other Lost Angel's books
