WILD INVITATION by Nalini Singh is an anthology of four couple's stories of love, trust and acceptance. The way all these couples are with each other is amazing. It is wonderful too see how the dominate males care and court their submissive mates. The tenderness, caring and love these males show to their mates and how they submit to them without feeling like they are a submissive is beautiful. It is beautiful to see how their submissive mates help them heal the scars on the inside and the way they do it without making them feel like less of a man. When you read the stories that will be a common thread for these Very dominate males.

The first story: Best of Temptation is Tamsyn & Nathan's story. This one you may have read on Nalini's website, I think this was the first place I read it. But it certainly is worth a second read. Tamsyn has to make Nate see that she is a grown woman and does not need to "Roam" before they mate. She also has to help him overcome his fear of losing someone he loves.

Story two: Stroke of Enticement is about Annie & Zach. Zach is a soldier for Dark River, Annie a human school teacher who teaches humans and changelings together. Zach has to show Annie that she can be loved by a dominate male and still have her independence.

Story three: Declaration of Courtship is about Grace & Cooper. For any women who dreams of being courted and surprised this is your story. Cooper pulls out all the stops to show Grace how serious he is about her. Cooper being a solider for Snow Dancer has to be very careful not to scare Grace away. Grace is a very submissive wolf and her instincts around Cooper are to submit. Cooper has to help Grace balance both her human side and submissive wolf side if their relationship is to work.

Story four: Texture of Intimacy is Lara & Walkers story. This one for me seemed to be the one that touched me the most. You get more of a look into Walkers past and the suffering he has had to endure in his life and how he dealt with it. Lara has to teach him how to open up and trust her. I cannot say too much about this story without giving too much away, but have tissues handy when you read this one.
