All bets are on for Windy Meadows rancher Jenny O'Brien; "Marry her and Win". The flea- sized Northwestern town is placing bets on who can get Jenny to the altar after the declaration she would never marry after being jilted at the altar 6 years ago. Stranger Nick Chandler is at the Bets & Burgers Café to see Jenny in her full fury over the betting. Nick has his own reasons for being there from New York and proceeds to tell everyone there that he intends to marry Jenny within 5 weeks. Thus, a $10,000 bet occurs between Jenny & Nick. The money will help Jenny to keep her ranch and Nick's secret ulterior motives for winning will save his neck as well. The once multi-millionaire and his sister Billie are in cahoots to make this happen.

Jenny is mortified to learn her uncle Harry has hired Nick as the ranch manager. Hiding his true motives, Nick finds himself drawn to Jenny in ways that are making it difficult to keep up his pretense. Jenny is having her own troubles being in close proximity to Nick every day. Nick begins to learn there are things more important in life than money and his corporation, N.L.C. Throwing caution to the wind, all bets are off for Nick as he does everything in his power to help Jenny, who he has fallen completely in love with. Even Jenny can't believe she hears the harps in the wind across the lake that is dictated by the old family legend that Nick is her true lifetime love. Approaching their deadlines, it soon becomes apparent what their priorities are and Nick intends to have Jenny at any cost.

For a newbie author, Darlene Panzera writes like a pro. She had me from page one and kept me through the entire book. Her writing is creative, funny and tremendously entertaining. BET YOU'LL MARRY is a different story from any I have previously read and a very refreshing read. I see a bright future ahead for this very talented lady. I don't intend on missing her future works.
