Having travelled all the way from Hopewell, New York (pop. 468) to the Walls Prison in Huntsville, Texas, the young widowed schoolteacher, Sarah Durandt, had hoped for closure. The local Chief of Police is helpful, but something is a little off. What exactly is going on?

This stand-alone story starts slowly like an extreme roller coaster, but once it crests its first peak, its rolls and twists and turns with non-stop page turning adventure! I particularly enjoyed the feisty red-haired FBI Special Agent Caitlyn Tierney who is committed to seeing justice done, despite the odds. Sarah also proved to be a strong character who finds true courage and strength from the love in her heart.
