Rebecca Ranier has a successful event planning business, with a silent partner -- Delilah Swanson, the owner of 1NightStand. Rebecca Ranier was the girl Luke Dexter left behind when he joined the Marines and went off to fight Al- Qaeda.
Delilah arranged for Luke and Rebecca to be each other's 1NightStand ten long years after he walked away from her. Luke's world stops the moment he sees Rebecca and he knows he must do everything in his power to remedy the biggest mistake of his life -- leaving Rebecca. Rebecca waited for years for Luke and now he's standing in front of her -- can she get past the hurt and anger he caused?
Heather Long does it again with ONCE HER MAN, ALWAYS HER MAN! A fantastic short story that packs so much emotion and story building into less than 50 pages that you feel like you've read an entire novel. I don't know how she does it, but Ms. Long has mastered the art of the short story -- her characters leap off the page and she pulls you into the story so quickly that you are fully invested in the outcome within a matter of pages. I've read many of the 1NightStand and Always a Marine stories and always come back for more. Don't miss ONCE HER MAN, ALWAYS HER MAN -- you won't be sorry you didn't!!
