Damned by the Gods for a mistake that was his alone, Gideon will do anything to ensure the men he leads find redemption through the battles they are called upon to fight. He never excepted to meet anyone like Merewen however, and the closer he gets to her, the more he's losing sight of his ultimate goal. With a dark and deadly evil spreading through Agathia though, if Gideon and his men lose the battle, not only will he and his men be damned, but everything he's come to love will be destroyed as well, including Merewen.

Though MY LADY MAGE is a bit of a departure from what we're used to getting from Alexis Morgan, the first book in her Warriors of the Mist series shows Morgan at her story- telling best.

Be prepared to fall in love with all five damned warriors. Though this book is about Gideon and Merewen, it's also very much about all five of the warriors that are loyal to each other to the point of following their leader into a life of condemnation. I found myself falling in love with each one for different reasons. Merewen is a strong heroine and I think she pairs perfectly with someone as guilt-ridden as Gideon is, who blames himself for his friends being damned. The ending to this story leaves many questions and I can't wait until the next book comes out. Morgan provides plenty of mystery, action and passion to keep you flipping pages well into the night. I didn't want MY LADY MAGE to end.
