I loved Rio. He is a strong alpha male and doesn't take any crap from anyone. Yet he has such a soft spot for Grace. He lets her stand on her own and helps her when she needs it. Grace is a strong woman and is more than ready and willing to fight. Watching the two form such a strong relationship made for a great read. I loved watching Rio help build Grace's confidence and prove how much he thinks of her. The two make a great couple. I was glad to see that Grace could not only rely on Rio but also herself. Both Rio and Grace are both willing to make sacrifices for the other. Seeing Grace grow with Rio's help was a nice read. The two make a wonderful couple. Grace brings out the softness in Rio while he brings out the toughness in her. ECHOES AT DAWN is a beautiful romance filled with action and suspense.
Although there were many twists that I did not see coming there seemed to be a bit more talking than action in this book than in the previous ones. I am eagerly awaiting the next book in this series. If you are a Maya Banks fan ECHOES AT DAWN is a must read. From the first time Rio sees Grace he knows she is the one and he is determined to find her and keep her safe. What more could a woman ask for?
