Maura may remind you of Nancy Drew. She is intelligent, witty, and stubborn. She is not one to give up or stop looking. The other characters are interesting, particularly the antagonists, but not as easy to connect to or like as Maura.
The plot was fast-paced and followed the typical mystery plot. Readers will find this RENDEZVOUS IN VERACRUZ difficult to put down especially as they get more towards the middle. When you read the end you will have found RENDEZVOUS IN VERACRUZ a satisfying read.
