TEMPT ME by R. G. Alexander is the second book in this series. If you have not read the first book you are missing out and will more than likely be lost if you do not read these books in order. This book picks up right where the first book left off. Unlike the first book this one is all one story. Instead of three short stories about three different couples we are treated to one couple: Angelique and Gabriel and their story.

Gabriel has come home to visit his family, figure out his roots and maybe even his own powers. Gabriel's father may have done all he could to expel them and anything related to his mother and sister but nothing can stop your heritage or the spirits themselves. When Gabriel meets Angelique the sparks ignite but he is afraid that he may hurt her and tries to stay away. Love will not be denied, Angelique has found the man she loves and will not be deterred. With the help of friends and family the two find themselves and love in the process. It was fun to come back and visit with the previous couples from the first book and seeing how they have grown and what has happened to them since we have seen them last. While I enjoyed Gabriel I cannot say enough about Bone Daddy. I enjoyed meeting him in the first book and visiting with him once again in this one. Gabriel is a wonderful man. It was nice to see that no matter what his father did to him while trying to distance him from his mother and her world Gabriel still grew up to be a strong and happy man. Angelique is a brave woman who is more than ready to fight for what she wants. The two make a great couple. Each one willing to fight for their love.

R.G. Alexander did a wonderful job of bringing this reader into the magical world of New Orleans. TEMPT ME took me on an emotional ride. Full of bad boys, spirits, voodoo and even a curse this is a book that should not be missed.
