Alec Darwin saw his Beloved killed before his eyes; however, Cora Ferreira dreams of the moments after, when he went on a murderous rampage in response. How is he supposed to woo her, the woman he believes is his Beloved returned, when she fears him? Granted, he was unhappily "resuscitated" - sort of- by her in the Akasha, but she has seen her sister fall intensely for a Dark One, and she wants her life to be her own. Not only do Alec and Cora have emotional and physical entanglements, they have to rescue a relative of a pretty big player in the universe. Even worse, what is he to do when people who care about him get involved and present a woman they claim is his Beloved?

Like all of Katie MacAlister's works, MUCH ADO ABOUT VAMPIRES is a fast-paced ride of hilarity. The dialogue (mental and spoken) is always hysterical, and this book, in particular, is loads of fun.

Book Summary

Corazon Ferreira is a jaded woman. Turns out she was a vampire's mate in a past life. And no matter how distractingly gorgeous he is, she just can't get the image of him killing someone out of her head. But when her life depends on him, Corazon's going to have to stop overthinking things-and start trusting her heart...
