Hockey player Brandon Stevenson noticed the lusciously
formed brunette in the stands pretty much the first game he
played with the Railers. As a season ticket holder she
attended every match and he grew to count on looking toward
her seats to catch her smile and see her cheering for him.
More than that, he felt a growing desire to meet her, to
touch her and see what could grow from the sparks he felt
across the arena. At last the day came when he was able to
track her using property records to a bar she owned in a
remote township on an unnamed meandering road. As he settled
in for a drink among the rather odd patrons she got up on
stage to sing. Each note made his need for her stronger and
strengthened his determination not to leave without getting
to know her better. A lot better.
In this second in the Forgotten Goddesses series, Charun the Etruscan God of the Underworld is still hunting the weakened goddesses to take their power and escape into the upper world. Lucy being a tough and take-no-prisoners kind of broad isn't nearly as worried about what may happen to her as Tessa was, her focus is much more on the fate of her worshippers as her power fades and on the inexplicable connection she feels with Brandon. In book two Stephanie Julian has crafted her story mostly around Lucy and Brandon's intense romantic relationship with generous helpings of sizzling hot and hearty sex. In HOW TO WORSHIP A GODDESS there are not as many action scenes as in the first in the series, What a Goddess Wants, but those that are there are thrilling and well-timed, just as powerful as in the first book. Book three, Goddess in the Middle is due out Sumer 2012, and from a glimpse of the cover promises to bring the sexual tension to an entirely new level. I can't wait!
Book Summary
HE'S EXACTLY WHAT SHE'S ALWAYS WANTED, AND SHE UNLEASHES HIM LIKE A FORCE OF NATURE...
Lucy was once the beloved Goddess of the Moon, and she could have any man she wanted. But these days, the goddesses of the Etruscan pantheon are all but forgotten. The only rituals she enjoys now are the local hockey games, where one ferociously handsome player still inflames her divine blood...
Brandon Stevenson is one hundred percent focused on the game, until he looks up and sees a celestial beauty sitting in the third row. A man could surely fall hard for a distraction like that...
