If you are a fan of Charlaine Harris and the Sookie Stackhouse series than this is a must have book for you. It is full of many different facts and things that are related to Sookie and her world. THE SOOKIE STACKHOUSE COMPANION is an interesting book that shines more light on Sookie and those in her world. I found a lot of great information in this book and I found myself flipping through it a lot. There are so many things in this book that make it fun and interesting. I loved the section where Charlaine Harris answers questions from her fans. It was a nice touch to have the author do something like that. All of the little touches that included the fans makes this book feel all the more special and connected to the readers.

I also enjoyed the fun extras that were included in this book as well, which include recipes that were sent in from fans. I cannot wait to try some of them myself. There are also quick trivia quizzes in the book to see just how much you know about the series. I haven't tried them yet but you know I will. A nice plus to this book is the interview with Alan Ball about his work on the television show True Blood.

This is not only a fun and interesting book it also gives fans of the series and television show a look behind the curtain. I am a big fan of the Sookie series and enjoyed all the fun facts I found in this book. My favorite part has to be the secret dialogues between Eric and Bill and the short novella included in the book. There is so much in this book that any fan should find at least one thing, if not a lot of things, that they enjoy in it.
