Lucy Fairbanks' passion for photography is always getting her in trouble. She's already caused a stampede and sundry other calamities, and today she falls out of a tree onto the top of a stagecoach, hoping to get a picture of a wild white mustang. The coach is being held up by three robbers when Lucy falls. This spooks the horses and they take off running, as Lucy hangs on for dear life. When she and the runaway coach are chased down by the robbers, a mysterious man appears from nowhere and rescues her, scaring off the thieves. Lucy begins a nonstop dissertation about everything that's happened and this mysterious man has to kiss her to shut her up.

And what a kiss it is! Lucy never had such feelings stir within her. This stranger drives the horses back to where the stranded driver and passengers are and disappears just as quickly as he appeared. Lucy knows nothing about him, but that kiss haunts her.
