Sherilyn interviews for a job as the wedding planner for The Tanglewood Inn. Of course, Emma has championed the idea ever since she learned that Sherilyn is engaged and moving back to Atlanta. Since Emma and Jackson are dating and soon to be engaged themselves, Sherilyn is a shoo-in for the job, yet Jackson is very impressed with Sherilyn's portfolio. As she begins work, Sherilyn strives to make every bride feel special and believe that their wedding is unique.
Setting a wedding date seems to be a big problem for Sherilyn and Andrew. The task keeps being sabotaged. First, the dress she purchased in Chicago gets lost in shipment, and then the perfect vintage dress she finds in Atlanta is misplaced at the Inn and seems to have disappeared. Sherilyn wonders if God is trying to tell her something, or if He is punishing her for her past sins. When Andrew's ex- girlfriend appears and makes a play to get him back, things get a little stormy. But when Sherilyn's ex-fiancé shows up at a party and Andrew learns the story of that breakup, he decides to let Sherilyn have some time and space to find herself again. Will Andrew and Sherilyn ever set a date, or will this wedding even happen?
This story is a sequel to Emma and Jackson's story and we get the opportunity to revisit and catch up on all the old characters as we meet some new ones. It will be great to learn how everyone's lives progress and read future stories of the couples who marry at The Tanglewood Inn. This is a delightful series with enchanting characters and beautiful love stories. I can't wait for the next installment!
