The sexy vampire Mircea is a member of the North American Vampire Senate and has formed his relationship with Cassie in preparing her for the coronation in the very near future. Mircea and Cassie are in constant flight, shape -shifting and fighting off demons in the effort to save Cassie, and in turn, the world. The supernatural world is after her life and she is in constant battle.

If you want loads of constant action, this is your book. I was a little confused with so much activity in the story. Lots of blood and supernatural events are packed in this tale with high energy and eternal flight. I found this to be packed with blood sucking creatures with no rest to catch your breath.
