Genres: Paranormal

Lara Rho is one of the Nephilim, fallen angels who lost their immortality when they intervened in the lives of humans. She was nine at the time of her fall. Before she was rescued by Simon, she went through some horrific times. Her gratitude to Simon will keep her at the school he runs with strict adherence to the rule. Until she meets Justin Miller.

Lara's job as a seeker is to find other Nephilim and bring them back to their community. On her first mission, she finds Justin. He isn't of the Nephilim although there is a strong connection between them. As she starts to return home, Lara and Gideon are set upon by demons. Justin saves her and is badly injured in the fight.

Lara and Gideon take Justin to their home only to find disapproval on the part of Simon who leads their community. Lara is forbidden to see Justin again and is put to work cleaning the bird cages. Only, Justin keeps making his way to Lara and eventually she will have to take him away to save him from both the demons and the Nephilim. As they travel, Justin starts remembering his past.

Together, Justin and Lara will make their way to World's End to re-unite him with the rest of his kind. Will this reunion separate Lara and Justin?

Ms. Kantra continues her children of the sea novels with this engrossing story. Paranormal readers won't want to miss it.
