If love is a battlefield, getting married for Kitty and Jeff is war...literally and intergalactically in ALIEN IN THE FAMILY. Luckily they happen to have help in the form of not only their own command squads, but a shield around the solar system which happens to inhabit one of their friends (and thinks Kitty is da bomb) as well as new interstellar friends that may not be friends at all. Well, all weddings have their little hurdles, don't they?

ALIEN IN THE FAMILY is the third book in the series by Gini Koch. Fans of the series will be happy to see the return of familiar faces and the humor from the first book of the series. While this is a fabulous read, and will have a reader unable to stop reading until the end, this is not for newbies. The back story, character references for good guys and villains and inside jokes may knock new readers out of the story, but those who have read the past two books will love the inside jokes and reminders. Especially during some of the sweet moments.

Readers of ALIEN IN THE FAMILY will absolutely adore the littlest addition to the A-C/human families and the plethora of wise cracks that abound with their arrival. Readers will love the newest little poofy scene stealers. Gini Koch out did herself with this installment of her Alien series. It will keep you rolling with laughter and comparing the characters to people you know for days. The one issue I had was one of the running jokes. Kitty is fully entrenched living with a full blooded A-C, full on double hearts, spearing him in the heart when necessary thing. Yet, she is still surprised by the super speed? The first few times are funny, now it's like the banana peel gag.

Over all a must read, especially for fans of the series, and if you're thinking of picking it up...do so along with the rest.
