Abby does not know Brent is a vampire. She is very much attracted to him. However, she does not see how he would ever be attracted to her. After buying clothes at the local boutique, she attempts to seduce Brent. He refuses at first because he doesn't want to get close to anyone. Abby is not looking for long-term, so she believes she is perfect for Brent. Will these two misfits find love? Solace in each other? Will Abby find out that Brent is a vampire?

While not my favorite book, it was enjoyable and I laughed out loud in parts. I think if it had been a better book if it were longer to allow for more explanation of what was happening and more plot development. At times, their was just too much going on in a very short period of time and it took away from the book as a whole. I very much loved the writing style and dialogue.
