"Trickster vs. Titan; A Fast-Paced Urban Adventure With the Universe at Stake"

Trixa Iktomi runs the Trixta bar in Las Vegas and keeps the Balance on her own terms, especially if justice isn't being served up fast enough by the universe at large. Eli the demon is in town and needs Trixa's help. Something is killing and mutilating demons at a tremendous rate. It should be cause for celebration, but anything that powerful can't be good news for either side. Trixa's boys, Zeke and Griffon, are meshing well and learning all she can teach them about kicking demon ass, until Griffon disappears and Zeke is left holding onto sanity by a hangnail.

Trixa, Leo/Loki, and the boys find themselves up against an ancient Titan while armed only with nose-tweaking skills. Survival seems improbable and success is imperative. Thurman's comic timing is dead on; well-targeted in Trixa's cynical, gritty voice. Her crisply honed writing skills take us on a hilarious ride but humor is never allowed to get in the way of the story, instead enhancing scenes throughout the book.

THE GRIMROSE PATH is a fast-paced urban adventure that will have you cheering Trixa's wild take on balancing life, the universe, and everything; and clinging on with your fingernails 'til you reach the final page.

THE GRIMROSE PATH is book two in the Trickster series (after Trick of the Light). I loved this book. Love, love, loved it.

Book Summary

Bar owner Triva Iktomi knows that inhuman creatures of light and darkness roam Las Vegas-especially since she's a bit more than human herself. She's just been approached with an unusual proposition.

Something has slaughtered almost one thousand demons in six months. And the killing isn't going to stop unless Trixa and her friends step into the fight...
