I want to highlight two of my favorite stories. In the first story, Two Blondes, I enjoyed reading a story focused on Sookie and Pam, rather than Sookie and one of the men in her life. This story was a short and quick adventure in Sookie's always-turbulent life.
The Perils Of Effrijim brings us the story of Aisling's sidekick and demon dog, Jim. Now if you are a fan of the Aisling Grey series, you know what a hoot this demon dog is. I just love his wit and humor. As we watch, Jim is banished to Akasha. In another form, he must find a way back to Aisling. This short had me laughing out loud at Jim's antics and eagerly awaiting the next story in this series.
You are sure to enjoy this collection of short stories, especially if you are already a fan of these authors and their characters. I enjoyed being able to pick up and read a quick story about a beloved character or finding out more about an unfamiliar author. I think that some readers will find some new authors that they may want to go out and buy after reading their stories in this book.
