She has promised that she will seek justice, no matter what the outcome, but as she digs closer to the truth, Sara realizes that truth is not always black-and-white.

A fast read that sets up Beck's new series with interesting characters and lifetimes of inter-relationships and deceit, WHEN BLOOD CALLS produces some nice twists for an enjoyable read.
