Initially, I was skeptical of the whole idea of another author (or two) jumping on the vampire bandwagon, and I only picked this up because I'm a long- time fan of Ms. Howard. I was immediately drawn into this amazing world of witches and warriors, humans and vampires and the struggle for survival by all. Luca and Chloe are fierce and powerful, reluctant heroes. I was engaged in this world from page one and look forward to the continuation of the saga and learning more about Nevada and Sorin!
