One day during shooting, AJ Gallagher shows up claiming all of Alison's research and writings are false. AJ claims Jamie and Melody never died, instead living long prosperous lives with children and family to fulfill their lives. The sexy stranger says he is the great-grandchild of a man who history has portrayed as a dead villain.
AJ Gallagher was content in Heaven, Alaska, until he felt compelled to travel to a small town movie set to confront Alison Carter and her research. As a historian, Alison has written falsehoods based on Silas Quinn's account regarding AJ's family. The last few years have been painful and difficult after being discharged from the service, but now AJ must add crazy to his long list of faults. He is traveling to Arizona at the insistence of Jamie Gallagher's ghost, who is adamant his name must be cleared. Of course, AJ is the only one who can see or hear Jamie, so his family is very concerned. AJ's next challenge is convincing Alison that almost everything in her research is false, which makes both her book and the movie a work of fiction.
INFAMOUS is the perfect combination of humor, mystery, danger, intrigue and romance. A very fun read.
Book Summary
Back in the days of cowboys and outlaws, a now-infamous shootout went down in the tiny mining town of Jubilation, Arizona. National hero U.S. Marshall Silas Quinn saved the city from the notorious Kelly gang, only to have his wife kidnapped and murdered by the ultimate lowlife, Jamie “the Kid” Gallagher. Or so the story goes…
One-hundred years later, historian Alison Carter has made her way to the scene of the crime to assist in a movie production of the upcoming film Quinn. Little does she know that waiting there for her is “the Kid’s” supposed great-grandson, A.J. Gallagher, looking to put a stop to production and the defaming of his relative.
