Kade has been sent by the Order to check out the brutal murders happening in Alaska. Kade is reluctant to go back to his home territory for he harbors a very large secret that could tear his Breed family apart but he knows he cannot disobey his First Gen boss in this order. They know that he is as familiar with the Alaskan tundra as anybody and is the most equipped to go and find out what is going on.

When Kade meets Alex the sparks fly and there is instant attraction but Kade knows he cannot do anything about it until he discovers that Alex is a breedmate. Still unless Kade wants to claim Alex, he must stay away no matter how hard it will be. Alex can't help but wonder why Kade is so mysterious but she is so attracted to the man it hurts. Will they be able to figure out what is going on in their small town before it is too late? Too many people have too many secrets!

I have eagerly devoured each and every Breed book that has been published. I believe Lara Adrian has developed the most interesting world and one that I especially enjoy discovering. She can't write the next one fast enough for me!
