It just so happens that the owner of the lodge where they are staying and participating in this program, Mitch Braxton, is the ex-senior partner in the firm and Lisa's ex- fiancé. He inherited this lodge when his uncle died, and suddenly felt the need to leave the sunny beaches of Fort Lauderdale for this frozen land. He did not present his case for leaving very well to Lisa, and their split left some hard feelings. Each feels that they need to mend fences and find some closure to their previous relationship.
But before that happens, three "accidents" and one tragedy occur. It seems as though someone is trying to eliminate Lisa from the competition. She survives falling in the raging, freezing river; then being locked in the sauna. But will she survive the third accident?
