Daniel Kane, successful owner of Kane Construction in San Francisco, lacks the ability to love or be loved. His mother died with a multitude of secrets regarding his true heritage. A MOTHER'S SECRET is a tender and touching story beginning with an unloved child who, as an adult, believes love is only a word. Loving another is not on his agenda, until he discovers he has a son of his own. The characters are very believable people with real pain and sorrow as they attempt to overcome their pasts. I intend to search out more stories by this author.
