Megan Lester was sick and tired of the way her husband, Scott, toed the line of his money-hungry businessman father's take-no-prisoners philosophy. When Scott missed yet another family event, Megan decided her daughter would be happier without having to hear more excuses about where Daddy was.

Meanwhile, Scott thinks he is showing his fatherly love by working grueling hours, no matter what the cost. However, despite an impending divorce that Scott's dad wants to make nastier by the second, Scott and Megan do not realize the real danger is an outside force who wants to be Megan's GUARDIAN ANGEL.

This book is Neiderman back to his classic writing style. The multiple perspectives provide sympathetic characterization, but the tone is all suspense, all the time. This is a great book to read in the dark!
