"A lack of connection to the characters in this book is disconcerting."

Despite the fact they are from the dirty streets of Paris, Lord Bentley becomes so enchanted by identical twins Colette and Camille LeChaud, he decides to marry one of them and give the other to his son and heir. To keep them busy and to make use of their dressmaking talents, the twins are allowed to own a prosperous dress shop, which is more successful than their life at home. Unfortunately, they are both struggling with each of their husbands, in and out of the bedroom, and unbeknownst to their husbands, the twins decide to take matters into their own hands.

From the very first page, I could not get into this book, which means I forced myself to finish it. This reader found absolutely no connection to the characters and the storyline was confusing, at best. A very painful read for me.
