Libby Monroe sneaks into Broken Heart so she can investigate alleged paranormal activity that has been reported there. Boy, does she come to the wrong place at the wrong time. She finds herself at a cemetery where a man is visiting a grave. Then all hell breaks loose when two dragons start fighting. One of the dragons grabs Libby and releases her soul into Libby. Now Libby not only feels strange but she can do miraculous things.

She discovers that the man at the cemetery is really Ralph Genessa, newly made vampire and father of adorable twin boys. The grave is his wife's. His boys are staying with his wife's parents until he can figure out a good vampire schedule. She is in lust with Ralph from the beginning but when she finds out about his boys, she falls instantly in love.

Libby also finds out that several of the ancients have serious attitude problems and are fighting for control. Can she help and if so how?

Wow, these Broken Heart books have it all, vampires, fae, shapeshifters, dragons and lycanthropes to name a few. I eat them up and eagerly wait for the next one! Michele Bardsley has my attention for the long haul!
