Sean Murphy is anything but a blue collar worker. The son of an Irish farmer, Sean's blazed his own path to being a successful European entrepreneur by servicing many women around the world, all for a price. When he meets Annie, he recognizes her for the innocent she is and starts to fall for her. The more he gets to know her though, the more he realizes she'll never accept him for what he was. With his sordid past, Sean's not the kind of guy Annie can take home to her parents. Or is he?
For as long as I can remember, Harlequin's have always gotten a bad rap, even in the romance world. After having read Leslie Kelly's HEATED RUSH, I can't understand at all why that is. I loved everything about this book. From Annie's desperate bid to get a date so she can avoid her family hassling her to Sean's self-loathing over his past, this book was the perfect endorphin filling rush that reminds you of all the reasons you read romance in the first place. If these are the kinds of novels Harlequin is offering, then please, sign me up for more.
