"Complex, highly sensual tale about werewolves is part thriller, part romance"

BAD BLOOD by L.A. Banks launches the Crimson Moon series, where Ms. Banks focuses her expert storytelling skills on werewolves. In this first story, Sasha Trudeau is a member of a unique Special Ops team charged with keeping the human community unaware of the werewolf community by taking down the demon-infected wolves that would threaten humanity. When she returns from her most recent mission, she discovers that all of the members of her elite fighting team are either dead or missing, and she's determined to find out why.

Ms. Banks gives a thrilling tale that is part thriller and part romance wrapped up in an entrancing paranormal bow. I was immediately taken with the complexity of the story and with the masterful, highly sensual yet hardly explicit love scenes. Like a movie that you get something different from each time you watch it, I could easily read this story again and again, discovering some new layer each time. I'm not a big paranormal fan but BAD BLOOD is a captivating good-vs-evil story. I will anxiously await the next installment of this series.
