After reading this latest book by Joan Johnston I did something I’ve never done before. I sent an email telling her to basically hurry up with the next installment. There are several intertwined stories in A STRANGER'S GAME and each is so compelling it could be it’s own book. This is definitely the best in the Bitter Creek series and if you are a Johnston fan you won’t be able to put it down. And if you’re not yet a fan it will make you one--of this I am sure. The passionate relationship of Grace and Breed develops slowly throughout and leaves you hungry for more. The good cop â€" bad cop twists and turns will have you clenching your teeth in anger.
