Malcolm's spent the last eight months trying to forget his little witch. Once he went back to Dragonspace, she should have just become a memory but he could never banish thoughts of her completely. When she summons him to help her fight off the white dragon, Malcolm finds he has another chance to be with his witch. To stay close, he asks Saba if she'll help him find the white dragon and the witch powerful enough to let him into the human world. Before he can heat things up between the two of them, Malcolm runs into another problem. Someone or something is draining him of his strength and he needs Saba's help, but will his ex-slave be there for him?
Allyson James sweeps you into the fast paced world of dragons and witches in THE BLACK DRAGON. Though it starts off with what seems like a bit of Stockholm's syndrome for Saba, you quickly realize she's a woman who can hold her own, even with a dragon who once enslaved her. No matter how much I wanted to dislike Malcolm for using Saba in Ms. James' previous novel, DRAGON HEAT, there's just something irresistible about Malcolm. You can't help but fall for him. With its fast paced story and action packed chapters, THE BLACK DRAGON is sure to become a fan favorite for paranormal lovers. Dragon or no dragon, I know I'm enthralled with this writer's books.
Book Summary

But an assault by an evil white dragon in human form on a bay area train forces her to use the magic Dragon's Tears Malcolm left behind to call him for help. Malcolm is still as tall and darkly sensual as ever, and Saba fears falling for him again. But Malcolm has returned to the human world for Saba's help-- his considerable powers are being drained and he needs Saba's special witch magic to save him.
