A couple of suspects quickly stand out during his investigation, but Goode is feeling pressure as more bodies are found. He desperately tracks the steps of the two men, annoyed when a cub reporter seems to be either one step ahead of, or behind, him. In the end, that reporter puts his own life in danger when his questions take him right to the killer.
The convolutions in NAKED ADDICTION will keep you uncertain of the end right until the final pages. Unfortunately, I just couldn't bring myself to care about the characters. Ms. Rother's writing style has an element of distance to it that made me read this book without becoming emotionally involved.
