After saying good-bye to her nursing students and putting her things in storage, Abby Cahill was really looking forward to her summer break in the beautiful scenery in Wisconsin before taking up a new position in California. The dialogue between the main characters sparkle with wit and there are enough undercurrents and strange things whirling around both the hospital and the ranch to make you just want to keep on reading.
