For a guy who's always kept his life commitment-free, Daniel Valeniza is suddenly tangled. A new house and becoming guardian to an infant is more than this cop can juggle. Fortunately help appears in the form of his next-door neighbor Sydney Harris. They don't meet under the best circumstances, but she quickly changes his first impression—partly because she's a wonder with the baby.
