So you can imagine how excited I was when my editor offered me a crack at Marcus Evans, a man designed before birth to be physically perfect in every way - stronger, faster, more powerful and more incredibly gorgeous than your average hero. He even has a sense of humor. I fell in love.

A dedicated Navy SEAL, a decorated war hero, he seemed the perfect man to guard elegant Ambassador Samantha Barnes during her brief visit to Washington. Perfect.

Except, of course, for this one tiny defect, this niggling compulsion...
