Set in the idyllic fictional northern Minnesota tourist town of Fawn Creek while a horrible blizzard interrupts the town’s sesquicentennial festivities, it involves inept would-be kidnappers, ransom demands for a giant butter sculpture, snowmobile chases, a con-man turned blackmailer and a poker tournament.
